Our hands are vital tools for working, leisure as well as expression. As a result they become injured and require hand therapy. Our specialist hand therapist assesses, treats and rehabilitates a wide range of hand and wrist conditions. These include elective post-op surgery, trauma and degenerative/congenital conditions. Hand therapists are highly specialised gaining specialist status through advanced post-graduate education and clinical experience.
Our hand therapist often works alongside hand surgeons to provide coordinated and effective post-operative care, subsequently hastening recovery. The hand therapist can advise on exercise, preventative care and aids to daily living. Subsequently this helps the patient return to a normal productive lifestyle.
